A cyber security company CREATES a new antivirus
that doesn't protect computers, but people.
Wunderman Thompson x Kaspersky
According to the United Nations, 2.1 billion people across the world lack access to safe water. In some parts of Africa, for instance, people walk up to 10 miles just to find their nearest clean water source.
Kaspersky believes in a future where technology can enrich everyone's life. So for this International Water Day, we’ll create an antivirus kit that doesn’t protect computers, but people instead. This kit includes a smart device that detects the purity of the water, and zinc tablets to purify if needed. A live data map will identify clean sources of water and a dedicated phone line will help people to find the nearest source of clean water available that day.
We pitched this idea to the client in 2019 and they loved it. However the global pandemic put this activation on pause forever, but we thought it was so good that it couldn't just live on a nice deck.
